But, before you write, here are a few things to keep in mind.
This site currently enjoys more than 40,000 visitors a day. I enjoy hearing from you, but it is obviously impossible for me to correspond with everyone. I also travel a great deal and when I'm on the road, particularly when I'm abroad or shooting in remote areas, I'm unable to be online on a regular basis.
I try and answer technical questions, but I can't respond to the following...
Printer issues. Diagnosing printer problems remotely is almost impossible.
Advice on what to buy. There are simply too many factors — from budgets to features — for this to be possible.
Where to buy things. I have no commercial relationship with any retailers. Also, I live in Canada and have readers from more than 120 countries. Obviously I can't know who has what available and where you can buy it at a good price.
A good place to ask technical questions or to seek advice of different sorts is on the Discussion Forum. There are many knowledgeable photographers online there who can add their thoughts and options as well.
